My thoughts on recent events in the beauty influencer community.... (long post)
This topic is one I've wanted to discuss for a while, but didn't because I wanted to make sure I got everything out. I don't particularly enjoy rehashing things which make my stomach turn so please bear with me since I have a lot to say. Some of it makes me really sad. For those who aren't aware, there is some real turmoil among beauty influencers and an adjacent "best friend". The most prominent is presently Shane Dawson, whose world is basically going down in flames. I don't feel the need to discuss every detail, but feel free to Google it. You will find a plethora of articles and drama channel YouTube videos. There are many facets to this turmoil and my goal is to address all of them and provide my position.
