April 2018 Boxycharm First Impression

My box is being delivered today! I can't tell you how excited I am. Why??? Dr. Brandt baby!!!! I love their products and we're getting a pore vacuum cleaner mask this month. This tube is $42 retail so that, alone, pays for my box. Those who know me know I love masks so trying a new one from one of my favorite brands??? Ummm..... YES PLEASE!!!! My face is prepped and ready to put that on as soon as I break into my box.

Yes... I will probably have it on while I'm playing with and swatching everything else in the box. Which, in case you hadn't heard, there is a huge variant this month. You will get one of five Colourpop pallets. Yassss!!!! I love the surprise element there. I would love to get Golden State of Mind or My Little Pony but I will find love for whatever I get.

I just got my box and yes... I have the mask on. It's cooling and tightening all at once which feels pretty strange. I'll review later in this post.

First impressions of what I received... According to the insert card, I got variation 2❤.

Adesse Liquid Lipstick-This item is a variant. From what I've seen, subscribers are receiving this or a makeup brush pair. This liquid lip is described as full coverage in a single sweep (we'll see).  It's also cruelty free, gluten free and paraben free. The color is nice. All swatches will be posted below.

Tarte Tartiest Pro Glow in Exposed-This item is a variant. All subscribers will receive this or a MAC lipstick. I'm a fan of Tarte. Their products are great and not crazy expensive. I'm not a liquid highlight girl but I'm willing to give this a shot.

The Brow Gal Tinted Brow Gel with Microfibers in brown hair 02-From what I've seen, all subscribers are receiving this item in assorted shades. Brow gel is hit or miss. But my experience with The Brow Gal has always been good so I have a lot of hope. It's also the right shade so I'll be able to try this without a trade.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner Mask-This is the strangest item I have ever tried. It's a liquid with beads in it that dissolve as you spread it out. The mask cools then gets warm as it dries. It didn't dry out my face, it's actually pretty soft. It tightened a little too. The instructions are to use it on trouble areas 2-3 times a week. I'll take that challenge and let y'all know how that goes.

Lastly..... My palette reveal.

I got the Golden State of Mind palette. This isn't an all in one palette like I envisioned. There are no matte shades. They're all shimmer. However, keeping that in mind, the colors are crazy beautiful. I really cannot pick a favorite. I am so excited to use this!
