FabFitFun 2018 Spring Editors Box First Impression

I love FabFitFun. I have been a subscriber for a little more than a year and have loved most of what I've received. There is some hit and miss items but, as a whole, my box is worth far more than what I pay. That being said, in between seasons they release editors boxes. The items are usually some popular items from recent boxes mixed with a few other staff favorites. I usually watch for spoilers before I decide to purchase or not. I think this is my 2nd editors. I remember purchasing fall but no others until now.

The winter box completely slayed it, if you ask me. The mix of items received were so awesome that I bought a second box so I could gift a few things from it for Christmas.

My favorite item was Kate Somerville ExfoliKate. This is my #1 favorite face scrub (see previous blog for my full review). This item retails for $69.99 (we'll just say it's out of my budget). So this made my 2nd box worth it. Then they decided to add it to the spring editors box. It was a no-brainer. I ordered the box. Everything else would be considered a bonus. Then I saw the rest. *squeak* I love what's in this box.

Editor's boxes used to include set items. No variations, no choices. The winter editors box offered the first choice program for the mid-season boxes. This season has even more choices. Since the account I bought this from is seasonal, I got 2 choices. Annual members get 4 choices. That's ok. I got to choose the ones that were the most important to me. I already have the Rachel Pally clutch and I was really eyeing the Summer and Rose tote in blue. I got to make that choice. I also have 2 of the hot/cold packs from a previous box so I opted for the bath bombs. The rest will be a surprise! So excited!!!

The items in all boxes (other than the ExfoliKate) are Ayesha Curry Homemade Ceramic Mug, Free People/Understated Leather Cooling Eye Mask and Briogeo Don't Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask.

The Ayesha Curry mug was in the winter box and I love it. Being that it's ceramic it holds heat. This will keep your coffee, tea, hot chocolate (whatever) warm for awhile. It's a very nice size and is super sturdy (mine has been knocked off the counter a few times and has no chips or cracks.) There is no variant here. All boxes have the teal "I'd Rather Be In Bed" mug.

Free People/Understated Leather cooling eye mask was in our spring box. I loved this mask so much that I bought an extra one. Not sure if I need a third or if I'll gift it. We'll see. This is a variant item. Boxes will include teal or grey.

Briogeo is no stranger to subscription boxes. Their products are outstanding. They don't have any of the bad stuff for your hair. No sulfates, silicones or parabens. The result is beautiful hair. I love everything I've tried of theirs and can't wait to try this.

The last 2 items are choice items for annual subscribers. Choice 3 is a Daily Concepts Wrap Towel or Spongelle Lavender Infused sponge. I received the hair towel and I'm definitely in need of one. This is really thick so I'm hopeful that it's as absorbent as it looks.

Choice 4 is a Tarte Double Duty Beauty shadow palette or a Tarte Tartiest pair of lippies. I got the palette. I had hoped this would be a good palette for traveling. However, there is one matte and I don't like using that much shimmer with my eye looks. I may try it and see if that one matte is enough. But it's compact and will be great for a travel makeup bag.

In the end, FabFitFun is always worth what you pay. Some of these brands are higher end and carry the larger price tag.
